Hannibal: Hugh Dancy, Bryan Fuller Tease Season 2, Including a Hannibal-Will Kiss?! Watch Now!

“He’s going to be much scrappier,” Fuller teases of Will in season two now that he knows the truth, but has been institutionalized. “We’ve seen him hit rock bottom and now he’s going to come up swinging.”

Fortunately, Dancy assures us there’s still a lot of storyline to be mined from the Will and Hannibal relationship. “I don’t know that it has to go entirely. There’s a connection of some sort and Hannibal is certainly not stopping being interested in Will. I think he’s still just as interested as he was and clearly Will now has a powerful interest in Hannibal, albeit of a different type.” – [Read Full Article & Watch the video]

Hugh Dancy talks ‘Hannibal’ and Mads Mikkelsen at Comic-Con: Watch

“It’s like being the best chess player in the world and finding another person who can play at the same level as you, finally,” Dancy told HitFix of Will this week during San Diego Comic-Con. There was an obvious amount of recognition between the two troubled souls of their similarities.

Like in the NBC show, Dancy and Mikkelsen share a lot in common and enjoy “a level of comfort” when it comes to their “style” of acting. “Working with good actors always improves what you do,” Dancy continued. – [Read Full Article & Watch the video]

NBC’s “Hannibal” at Comic-Con: A Feast for Fans

Fans of NBC’s thriller series “Hannibal” were in for a real treat Thursday when the cast and crew of the show hosted a lively panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
It’s safe to say not a single fan of the show – or “Fannibal,” as they’re known in the world of pop culture fandom – left the panel unsatisfied, as the hour-long Q&A session served up plenty of juicy tidbits about the show.
The NBC drama, which just wrapped its freshman season, centers on psychiatrist-turned-serial-killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter (played by Mads Mikkelsen) and William Graham (played by Hugh Dancy), a criminal profiler who’s on the hunt for a serial killer with the FBI.
Dancy, along with “Hannibal” creator and executive producer Bryan Fuller, took the spotlight at the Comic-Con panel Thursday. They were joined by executive producers Matha De Laurentis and David Slade. – [Read Full Article]

#SDCC 2013: A Few Tasty Morsels of What’s Ahead in Hannibal Season 2; Watch the Entire Panel

Horror fans love to discuss, debate, and disagree; however, one thing we all seem to be in agreement on is that we can’t get enough of NBC’s “Hannibal”! Here are a few tidbits of what’s ahead in Season 2.

Yesterday we took part in roundtable interviews with series star Hugh Dancy (Will Graham), creator/showrunner Bryan Fuller, director/exec producer David Slade, and exec producer Martha De Laurentiis at San Diego Comic-Con. They couldn’t divulge a lot of details, but we did learn enough to whet our appetites even more for the continuing adventures of Dr. Lecter and Will. – [Read Full Article]

‘Hannibal’ Season 2 Details and More Revealed at Comic-Con Panel

Hannibal is undoubtedly one of the best new shows to arrive on TV this year. With its shocking yet beautiful imagery of death and horror, its tooth-grindingly tense plots and stellar performances from Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Eddie Izzard, Kacey Rohl and the rest of the outstanding cast, Hannibal is one of those rare shows that leaves you absolutely transfixed and hungry (pun intended) for more after each episode.

If you missed Hannibal when it first ran on NBC, there’s plenty of time to get caught up with the episodes on Amazon before the show returns in 2014. For those who have seen the entire first season and are eager to know what happens next, the cast and crew of Hannibal obliged by making an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, to talk about the show and what the ‘Fannibals’ can expect to see the future. If you haven’t seen the first season all the way up to the finale yet, then be warned: the following recap contains MAJOR SPOILERS. – [Read Full Article]

Comic-Con 2013: ‘Hannibal’ Panel Report

In Thomas Harris’ The Silence of The Lambs, a young FBI agent turns to an imprisoned Dr. Hannibal Lecter to find a deranged killer. However, the next season of “Hannibal” will flip that dynamic around, now that Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) has been imprisoned for Hannibal’s crimes.

Earlier today at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Dancy, director David Slade, and “Hannibal” executive producers Bryan Fuller and Martha De Laurentiis were greeted by a packed room of cheering fans. And Fuller soon dropped some hints about where the story is going next season. Among other things, Fuller promised that Will Graham will be feistier and scrappier now that he’s hit rock bottom. Will is also aware of Hannibal’s true nature after last season’s finale.

Fuller indicated that he has laid out the story arc for the second season – [Read Full Article]

Comic-Con: ‘Hannibal’ Crew Teases Season 2 Two-Part Opener

NBC‘s Hannibal ended its rookie season on a cliffhanger with FBI investigator Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) on the wrong side of the bars, accused of murder. Exec producer Bryan Fuller revealed Thursday at Comic-Con that the crime series’ second season will return in a two-parter followed by a trial in Episode 3. “We have the season arc crafted, and it’s a doozy,” Fuller teased to a packed ballroom. “We just finished breaking Episode 3, and we are breaking Episode 4 now.” The Season 2 openers will act as a pseudo pilot, Fuller said, reintroducing characters who now find themselves in much different places. “Will knows something no one else knows, and it’s a great place to put a character,” Fuller said. “One of the things I was most excited about in Season 2 was seeing Will Graham hit rock bottom.” – [Read Full Article]

There have been tons of amazing graphics on tumblr from these two events, you can find them all in the Hannibal or Hugh Dancy tags.

As for the turn out, the room looked packed from what we can tell here. And this was tweeted:

Dino DeLaurentiis Co tweeted this for all of the fans who attended and the ones who took to online outlets to keep up with everything going on at the Comic Con.
